The 1953 Championship game is best remembered on Bobby Lane's 80-yard scoring drive in the final 4 minutes of the game, which would be the Lions second consecutive NFL title. This ring is in mint condition as the original was sent back to the factory to be remade with the original gold and diamond this was a common practice with rings that were well worn. Top of ring is shaped like a football with World Champions 1953 surrounding a point .10 diamond. Sides have intricate roaring-lion shank designs with "DETROIT LIONS" and "NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE." Name Roy Macklem is engraved inside band with Jostens 14K. Weight is 27.9 grams and is a size 11.5.
